This study is a collaborative effort by researchers at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute, the University of Washington, and Stanford University.
Booster Shot Media created the comics and videos. We are also working with colleagues at Providence Health System in Spokane, Washington, as well as with Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R), an organization that advances the ethical conduct of medical research.
This project is supported by the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (UL1 TR000423-07S1) and the Greenwall Foundation with funding to the Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) and the Stanford Center for Clinical and Translational Research and Education (SPECTRUM). The study started in October 2013.
