The clinic’s facilities and capacity allow GHRI to perform trials of varying size and complexity—including complicated studies requiring safety oversight and special procedures. The lab can collect, process, store, and prepare blood and urine samples for shipment. Certain CLIA-waived lab tests, such as urine pregnancy tests, are completed on site. The research clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including a physician assistant, registered nurses, medical assistants, and clinical research assistants. All staff are centrally trained and certified for performing clinical test procedures and interviewing. The clinic is also supported by an administrative specialist, research specialists/assistants, project managers, and a clinical research manager.
