01 Apr Structural MRI Research Collective (STF Collective)
We are conducting this study to collect a wide variety of neuroimaging data and questionnaire data.
Researchers at the UW and beyond will use these data to explore how your experiences and
background are related to brain structure and activity.
Participant Eligibility
Inclusion Criteria:
– You are aged 18-30.
– No significant history of a psychiatric disorder, substance abuse, neurological, or cardiovascular disease. This includes any pharmacologic treatment that lasted longer than 12 months. Anxiety and depression are okay as long as pharmacologic treatment has never lasted longer than 12 months.
– Current treatment is okay as long as it hasn’t lasted longer than 12 months
– Childhood or adult diagnosed ADHD with no current pharmacological treatment is also okay.
Exclusion Criteria:
– Non removable piercings above the neck
– Moderate to severe claustrophobia
– Unsafe metal for MRIs in your body (pacemaker, aneurysm clip, copper IUD)
– Cystic Fibrosis
– Multiple Sclerosis
– Bipolar Disorder
– Cerebral Palsy
– Bipolar Disorder
-Schizophrenia
-Sickle Cell Disease
-Brain Tumor
-Stroke
-Chemotherapy
-Thyroid Hormone Treatment
-Seizures (two or more unprovoked)
-Current Diabetes Treatment
-Pregnancy
-Head Injury (loss of consciousness > 30 min, amnesia > 24 hours, 3 or more concussions, CT findings consistent with TBI)
