21 Nov Skin Patch User-Friendliness Study
IV-Safe is UW-based project that is developing improved IV securement patches.
This study tests the user-friendliness of the patches by having volunteers place a patch on their skin and wearing it for up to 72 hours.
Participants will be asked to record information including taking pictures of the patch periodically and may be asked to restrict certain activities such as swimming.
Participants will earn up to $150 dollars for completing the study.
Participant Eligibility
18 years of age or older
Speak fluent english
Have no known allergies to dyes or adhesives
Have no preexisting health conditions that may interfere with the study
Able to wear a skin patch for up to 72 hours
Have access to a smartphone
