10 Sep Neighborhood Alcohol Research Study
PURPOSE: This study aims to explore Black adults’ experience with alcohol and perceptions of their neighborhood and community. Through a Zoom interview (60-90 minutes), we aim to identify sources of hardships and strengths within neighborhoods that contribute to or protect against health inequities and investigate what Black adults want in community interventions aimed at reducing health consequences.
TIME INVOLVEMENT: Participants will be asked to complete a 5-7 minute screener survey. If eligible, participants will be invited to participate in a 60-90 minute individual virtual interview to discuss their experiences.
PAYMENT: For completing the study, participants will receive a $40 electronic gift card.
Prior to the interview, participants will be asked to confirm identity with an ID.
