09 Nov GEMs in RUBI
Researchers at Seattle Children’s are looking for caregivers of children without autism spectrum disorder or challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, destruction) to take part in a 30-minute online survey study and a one-time in-person EEG and cognitive assessment visit. The goal of this study is to study parent and child problem-solving and emotions in an intervention that includes parents. Parents will be compensated with a $50 gift card. Participant Eligibility
Parents are≥18 years of age
Parents read English or Spanish
At least one of your children is aged 2 to 12 years
Are the biological parent for a child and neither you, your child, or your child’s first or second-degree relatives have:
– A Neurodevelopmental Disorder (e.g., Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, a learning disability)
– Prenatal alcohol exposure
– Psychosis
– Challenging behaviors that have required intervention
Are free of current or historical neurological, psychiatric, or other conditions that significantly impact daily living (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke, schizophrenia, current substance abuse)
