19 Jul Abbreviated DBT Skills Training for LGBTQ+ Adults
Do you identify as LGBTQ+ and experience strong emotion? Want to learn some effective coping skills? Help us explore and understand the mental health experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, and how coping skills can help. This study is created by an LGBTQ+ researcher for the LGBTQ+ community.
We first ask that you complete a brief (less than 5 minute) screening survey, found here (https://tinyurl.com/SkillsScreen). If you screen in, a member of our lab will then contact you for a one-hour intake interview.
From there, you will be invited to participate in a 6-week skills group via secure Telehealth, meeting once weekly for 90 minutes. You will be asked to complete a less than 60-minute online survey before group, an up to 15-minute online survey twice during group, a less than 60-minute online survey after you’ve completed group and 6 months after having completed group.
Participants who complete the baseline and weekly surveys will be eligible for a $15 Visa gift card.
