Peer Decision Coaching Research Study

Peer Decision Coaching Research Study

The study aims to pilot test a peer delivered intervention facilitated by a peer specialist to support making decisions about community participation among young adults who have serious mental illness (SMI). Community participation includes things like working, going to school or socializing with friends. Participants will talk with a peer decision coach about a decision they are facing and what can be done to help with decision-making. All meetings will be held virtually on zoom. Participants will complete two virtual research interviews sessions taking place before and after participating in study intervention. We anticipate this project taking up to 1-3 months. Participants will be paid $25 for the baseline interview and $30 for the post interview.
