The Brain Influences on growth at Birth Study is trying to learn how a baby’s brain contribute to growth and weight gain in the first six months of life.

We are recruiting pregnant individuals or families with babies up to 1 month old.

-All parent participants will have one screening phone call.
-Parent and child participants will have two in-person visits at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, spread out over 6 months.
-Visits will typically last 45 minutes to 1.5 hour.
-Baby participants will have one brain MRI and body measurements. Parents will complete study questionnaires.

There will be one remote visit at 3 months (one online questionnaire).

Participants may earn up to $200 for the completion of the entire 6-month study.
