06 Jul Healthcare Workers and Mental Health During COVID-19
Are you a healthcare worker directly working with COVID-19 patients?
We want to interview you to learn about your experiences with mental health and suicide risk during this difficult time such that we can learn how to better support you. Please follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/SPUFrontline to complete a screening questionnaire that will take no more than 5 minutes.
If you qualify for our study, you will then be asked to review detailed information regarding the study and asked to provide consent to participate in the study. Once you provide consent, you will then be guided to a scheduling website to schedule your interview with a doctoral student clinician. After the interview, you will then be asked to complete weekly surveys for 10 weeks following your interview. We will then contact you to complete follow-up surveys 6 months and 1 year after your interview to see if there have been any changes to your mental health and suicide risk.
Participation in the initial interview and baseline surveys will enter you into a raffle for ten $200 gift cards. Every weekly follow-up survey you complete for the first 10 weeks will count as another entry into the raffle, as well as an additional entry each for completing our six-month and one-year follow-ups. You have the choice of receiving your compensation through PayPal or in the form of an Amazon gift card.
