19 Feb A Message of Gratitude and Best Wishes for the Future
Dear colleagues and friends at the Institute of Translational Health Sciences,
As I change my role within this remarkable institute that has been my professional home for more than a decade, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the incredible journey we have shared together. The Institute of Translational Health Sciences has been a beacon of innovation, dedication, and collaboration, and I am honored to have served as the Principal Investigator during this transformative period. Our collective efforts have propelled the field of translational research to new heights, bridging the gap between bench and bedside with groundbreaking discoveries and advancements.
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every member of this outstanding community for your unwavering commitment and tireless dedication to the pursuit of knowledge and the betterment of human health. The collaborative spirit that defines our institute has been the driving force behind our success, and I have no doubt that the future holds even greater achievements under new leadership. As I step into a new chapter of my career, I am confident that ITHS will continue to thrive, guided by Dr. John Amory, who you all know well. While I will be wishing the institute, its talented researchers, and the incoming leadership a bright and prosperous future filled with continued success and groundbreaking discoveries – I won’t be far away. You’ll find me next door to ITHS, at the Cancer Vaccine Institute, where I am focusing much of my energy as our vaccine progresses through phase 2 clinical trials. I will also continue to be an active voice within the ITHS leadership team, and I look forward to taking on that new role.
With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes,
Dr. Nora Disis
