11 Apr A Message for the ITHS REDCap User Community
First, we want to say that ITHS is committed to keeping the REDCap system operational, and we want to minimize any disruptions to your work.
You may have received an email or seen a message about the impact of funding delays on some of the REDCap services you rely on. We are sorry for any worry that may have caused. A delay in federal funding to ITHS has caused temporary staff capacity reduction, which has impacted REDCap management as well as many other important research support services.
However, we are pleased to share that the UW School of Medicine leadership team has stepped in to help bridge our current funding gap to ensure your REDCap work can continue. Their support allows us to continue providing normal REDCap services through the month of April. In the unlikely case we do not receive the NOAs by the end of April, we will develop and share a long-term plan for REDCap operations. We would like to extend our gratitude to the School of Medicine for their generosity at this difficult time.
We thank you for your continued patience as we navigate these challenges and would like to add a special note of thanks to our informatics colleagues for their hard work during a stressful time.
