20 Nov Organizational Update: Extended Stakeholders & Oversight Committees
Refreshed Charters for CTMS Extended Stakeholder Groups
The CTMS Program is well supported by four cross-functional groups that have been guiding our efforts to date. Charters for the following groups have been refreshed to incorporate their involvement and support for CTMS operations in addition to ongoing implementation efforts. The program office is fortunate to have such great representation from our study teams and administrative offices.
- Subjects & Protocols Advisory Group (SPAG) – Support design, development and adoption of CTMS workflows for Subjects and Protocols
- Super Users – A community of expert users in CTMS functionality and workflow execution, serving as “go-to” resources for study staff
- Change Leadership Team (CLT) – The CLT facilitates messaging and institutional adoption of CTMS workflows for key follow-on projects, such as the document upload effort
- Operations Committee (Ops Committee) – Provide advisory services and oversight to the CTMS Program
New Oversight Committees for CTMS Operations
To help ensure appropriate stewardship of our shared CTMS, several committees were recently formed to support CTMS Operations:
- Data Standards Committee – focus on overseeing changes to minimum footprint fields and shared list values such as sponsors, institutions etc.,
- Access Review Committee – focus on helping ensure OnCore access requests are managed according to approved access models and business rules for each end user role
Other committees will be identified and created as needs arise . If you would like to learn more about these committees or have any questions, please email ctmspm@uw.edu.
