With more than 25 years of experience in the medical device and technology industries, Paul has extensive experience in product development. He has also amassed a broad technical background in electro-mechanical design, injection-molded part design, and optomechanical design.

Paul devoted 4 years to the development of Vertis Neuroscience’s launch products for the treatment of back pain as well as cortical stimulation products for the treatment of stroke. He served as Project Director at SeaMed Corporation where he was responsible for leading medical product development programs and as Director of Programs at Carbon Design Group, where he oversaw all medical device development for the firm. In addition, Paul has extensive mechanism experience in both medical and industrial markets, and commercial and aerospace product development.

Paul has extensive thermodynamics and mechanism experience in medical, consumer, industrial, and aerospace markets. Additional areas of expertise include simulation, neurostimulation, and electro-mechanical integration.

Paul received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University. He holds over 25 US patents.
