Nina Isoherranen, PhD, is the faculty co-director of the ITHS Pilots Program.
Dr. Isoherranen received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and her master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry in 1998 from the University of Helsinki, Finland. She obtained a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2003 and continued her training as a post-doctoral fellow with Ken Thummel at the University of Washington. She is a professor and the Milo Garabaldi Endowed Chair of Pharmaceutics in the UW School of Pharmacy. Dr. Isoherranen’s main research interests relate to vitamin A disposition, pharmacokinetic modeling and drug-drug interactions.
