Margaret Rosenfeld, MD, MPH

Margaret Rosenfeld is the co-director of the ITHS Research Capacity/Hub Liaison Team. She is a pediatric pulmonologist, Professor and Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Research, Department of Pediatrics, University of Washington School of Medicine and co-Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Research at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Her research program focuses on multicenter clinical trials and observational studies in children with cystic fibrosis and other chronic lung diseases of childhood, with an emphasis on early intervention strategies. She is the physician liaison to the Department of Health for CF newborn screening. She also researches mobile health tools as endpoints for remote clinical trials that could increase access to trials and decrease the burden of participation.
