Bonnie W. Ramsey, MD, was a co-Principal Investigator of the Institute from its beginning through 2022. She is currently a Faculty Contributor to the ITHS Participant & Clinical Interactions and Network Capacity teams. At Seattle Children’s Research Institute, Dr. Ramsey is Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Research. She is also Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Pediatrics and holds the Endowed Chair in Cystic Fibrosis (CF) at the UW School of Medicine. She is internationally recognized for her work in developing new therapies for patients with CF, and she directs the CF Therapeutics Development Network that oversees clinical trials throughout the United States. Dr. Ramsey was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2015.
